He remembers his past, and being allies with an Energy Warrior who later was a Stunticon, then being a Racebot/etc-bot somewhat down that era. He was discovered by Cramblast as he was beneath a large pile of rubble which left him in a coma. He later fought Stunticon, alongside his old buddies being Dragstrip and Roadwarrior.
Makeshift didn't always have his sword, though, as it was given to him by Cramblast as he thought it suited him (Which it actually did!). As he had a connection to the Decepticons, and the Stunticons, he would always hate them and try to track people who called themselves such. Jazzimus had remembered him, Splurge, and Motormaster, the first era of Stunticons going way back in History.
